Our Story
Terrapage Press was founded in Seattle, Washington, with a simple belief: the best stories come from deep attention to the world around us.
We are an independent publishing house committed to literary fiction, narrative nonfiction, nature writing, and poetry that reflects the complexity and beauty of the places and communities we call home.
Our editorial vision is guided by a love of language, a respect for craft, and a conviction that independent publishing plays a vital role in the literary ecosystem.
We work closely with our authors from manuscript to finished book, offering hands-on editorial guidance, thoughtful design, and dedicated promotion. As a Pacific Northwest company, we draw inspiration from the forests, coastlines, and mountains that surround us—and from the diverse, creative community that makes this region unlike any other.
We are actively building our catalog and welcome submissions from writers whose work resonates with our mission.
